This fabric not only exhibits high uniformity and tensile strength, it is also cost efficient and can be used by cost sensitive manufacturers from Hygiene and Medical industry.SMS is also a multi-layered 100% polypropylene nonwoven fabric. SMS and SMMS fabrics have very good barrier properties which prevent liquid penetration. Chemical additives can improve the properties of the SMS; it can be become antistatic, flame retardant, water or alcohol repellent.
